Jae Dum Rangsit Klong 10

Jae Dum, the lady in Coca Cola apron, personally greets us at our table. We are long-time customers. My dad found this place about 25 years ago. Jae Dum was selling her food from a wooden stall across her current shop location. Her cooking is phenomenal. This place is our all-time favourite.

River prawns, grilled to perfection, nobody does this better than Jae Dum. Other reccommended dishes: Tom Yum Kung, Tod Mun Pla Krai (fish cake), Luk Chin Pla Krai (fish ball), Pad Kiew Wan (pan fried green curry) and fried chinese broccoli with prawn craws.

We also try this new menu: yummy steamed crab craws. Baht 250 a pop, it worths every penny.

Texas Beef Ball Noodle

Texas Beef Ball Noodle Soup is located in Soi Texas Yaowaraj. It's one of top spots reccommended by many guide book. The beefball has a nice density and is a little salty which goes great with mild clear soup.

Just a touch of chilli, vinegar and fish sauce makes this noodle soup perfect.

Hong Kong Shopping Weekend

Kay reunites with Karen, her Pepperdine Classmate, in Karen's hometown.

Pat, Ko and Kay go shopping in Hong Kong this weekend. Pat is the team leader for this trip. They have a great weekend shopping and enjoying great meals.

Pat takes Ko and Kay to this small place. Fried pork over rice is thier specialty. Pat also orders Szechuan soup, stir-fried morning glory.

Another great meal. Don't you think it's too much for three girls?

Kay is very good with packing. She can pack all the stuff in these bags into one not-so-big luggage.
